Ohayashi (Folk Instrumental Music)

Ohayashi is originated from cheering a deity to move to the festival space from a shrine. Ohayashi in Fujimi City was presumably introduced through Shingashi River transportation. Ōdaiko (big drum), Shime-daiko (small drum), Kane (percussion) and Fue (flute) are instruments of Ohayashi. Mask dance may be performed in accordance with Ohayashi rhythms.
