Transformation around the Tsuruse Station

These are all aerial photographs around the Tsuruse station. Photos, taken shortly after the war by the United States Army in about 1946, show the scenery much the same as that of 1914 about when the Tōjō Line opened. Other than the Tōjō Line, the scenery far in the past may look about the same. In the photo taken in 1959 the Tsuruse Complex figures prominently, but no major change is seen other than it. In the photo taken in 1990 show the increased urbanization around the station with housing developments.
